Priya Entertainments has recently acquired Annapurna Cinema in Sonarpur. Presently it is being turned it into a mall-cum-multiplex and is at an early stage of construction. When commissioned it will be the first suburban multiplex in Bengal. Sonarpur, in the Southern fringes of Kolkata, was identified for expansion of PEPL’s theatre network, as it showed endless possibilities for growth.
