Priya Entertainments organised the premiere show of a new bengali movie - 'EKTI TARAR KHONJE' at Priya Cinema on 24th June 10 at 7pm. The film
produced by Screenplay films and distributed by Piyali Films earned many accolades from the audience. Director Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury and the cast Sayan Munshi, Arpita Pal, Dhritiman Chatterjee, Rudraneel, Arijit Dutta along with the entire crew were present in the show. The film releases on 25th June 10 at Priya, Star, Bioscope etc.

The multiplex has 6 screens with different theme decors in the auditoriums named ‘Cleopatra’, ‘Astro’, ‘Aqua’ and ‘180 BC’. The facilities that would also be available apart from the regular cinema viewing are as follows.
1.An auditorium for encouraging group theatre and small theatre groups and events and cultural shows.
2.One auditorium will be completely dedicated to children.
3.The first ever preview theatre in a multiplex.
4.The multiplex with conferencing and meeting facilities.

Rongo Rosh
A dramatized reading of old Bengali sex comedies, ‘chutkis’ (jokes) and farces by Jagannath Basu and Urmimala Basu. Tickling the funny bone and creating an hour of rip-roaring laughter, this segment will be extremely entertaining and perfectly balance out the audience experience coming just after ‘Babuani Bibiani’.

Babuana Bibiani
A unique marriage of fashion and music reflecting the wardrobe of the Bengali milieu down the century with a collage of songs used in 19th century plays in Kolkata (popularly known as ‘baithaki’ songs. The outfits will be done by eminent designer Sharbari Dutta and Shampa Das. Debjit Bandopadhyay and Riddhi Bandopadhyay, who are famous for this genre of songs, will do the musical representation. |

Shampa Kundu will sing the evergreen songs of the golden era. There will be well-researched readings about the perspective and the divas that will make it an event to remember.

Thakur Baarir Fashion- A fashion ensemble reflecting the style quotient of the famous Tagore family of Jorasanko of north Kolkata. This family, besides its literary acumen, is also historically well-known for leading the so-called fashion movement, especially women’s fashion. The event will intricately showcase and articulately narrate the fashion history of the eminent household. Co-ordinator for this show would be danseuse Rubena Chatterjee.
