We dedicate this day’s programme to all the music lovers. The aim is to present them an enjoyable event with a touch of nostalgia. This year we have on offer Nayika Sangbad- A concept concert to debut in this event, celebrating the yesteryear’s divas of Bengali cinema. Shampa Kundu will sing the evergreen songs of the golden era. There will be well-researched readings about the perspective and the divas that will make it an event to remember.

Thakur Baarir Fashion- A fashion ensemble reflecting the style quotient of the famous Tagore family of Jorasanko of north Kolkata. This family, besides its literary acumen, is also historically well-known for leading the so-called fashion movement, especially women’s fashion. The event will intricately showcase and articulately narrate the fashion history of the eminent household. Co-ordinator for this show would be danseuse Rubena Chatterjee.

Chandrabindoo Live- In true synergy with the cultural texture of the other elements, we have chosen Chandrabindoo, because of a wit and a certain progressive Bengaliness so unique of them, to bid adieu to the year and end the event one day away from the clutter of new year eve events all over the city.
